I am inclined to admire people for their good intentions, but
why do they so often pave the way to hell?
The very survival of our civilisation, I believe, depends on us finding answers to this question.
I see 2 principal reasons:
1) Good intentions are often misconceived.
2) I'm not the only one inclined to admire good intentions. Most people do, so they confer social status, personal advantage & power on those thought to possess them. Thus, anyone pursuing a political career will virtue-signal their "good intentions" whether genuine or not.
How genuine anyone's good intentions are it is often impossible to judge.
I'm inclined to believe that the intentions of Bush & Blair, for example, in invading Iraq were good, but tragically misinformed & misconceived.
Politicians' desire for economic growth is well intended, because it provides the money to do good works, but misconceived, because it involves plundering & spoiling our planet. Notwithstanding that most of the money goes towards making the wealthy even wealthier.
Those responsible for imposing the madness of mass immigration, DIVERSITY, the #GreatReplacement & #WhiteSelfGenocide on the West, are presumably motivated by the ideology of #OneHumanRacism, which again is usually well-intended, but misconceived.
The ideology of #OneHumanRacism is so terribly misconceived, because it ignores human nature, which, when it intrudes, is demonised, thus enabling the demonisers to claim a spurious moral authority for themselves, along with the personal advantages & power that come with it.
From an Orwellian perspective, of course, it is not misconceived, but serves #BigBrother & his minions as a perfect instrument of socio-political intimidation & control.
The Nazis manipulated & exploited German tribalism for their own evil purposes, in pathological overreaction to which academics demonised human tribalism itself, thereby giving rise to the ideology of #OneHumanRacism = post-racial #Multiculturalism, DIVERSITY & #AntiRacism.
When, in the aftermath of WW2 & the Holocaust, traumatised Jews & others swore, Never Again, they embraced this ideology with the best of intentions, not realising that it would pave the way to an Orwellian nightmare & the next holocaust.
This is the path we are now on.
My good intentions are to get us off of this path as quickly as possible, which I will only achieve by making enough influential people (academics & the like) aware that we are on it.
#InstitutionalRacism is a red herring. Our real problem is institutional Orwellianism, which doublethink blinds us to.
