I had this classmate, let's call her Blessing. She wanted to live a holy life and always gave a stern no to every ungodly relationship but the issue was she always accepted gifts from the same people she said no to!

It is just like saying you don't want to be friends with the devil but yet you keep enjoying the pleasures of sin, eating and dining with him!

It didn't end well for Blessing as she had to finally give in because she felt indebted to them, in fact she was indebted to them! How can you eat my food and deny knowing me?

Esau gave his birthright to Jacob because he ate from his pot of pottage, so how can you say you don't want to have anything to do with a person you receive gifts and money from😏

Some brothers will be eating from the pot of a sister they don't want to have anything to do with, you know she is seeking attention and you will receive her calls, her gifts, her hugs! What are you even looking for sef?

Sisters, please learn to be independent, don't give in because you feel he will help you with some of your needs, do something with your hands and preserve your dignity!

If you said No to the relationship, say no to his gifts! Stop eating where you don't want to pay for, you cannot try it in a restaurant naw😂
