ABOUT ME THREAD: HI new followers! I’m on here highlighting food & restaurants in one of the most underrated foodie cities in America... Baltimore.
(This jumbo lump crab cake is from a carryout on North Ave called Soul Kuisine. It’s only $16! Dbl crab cake is $29)
You will find a little bit of everything on here. No, really. I’m not a picky eater and the point of starting Charm City Table was to share all of the good food in Baltimore, not just the hip, trendy spots (though they can be cool too)
Not all places I post on here are outright recommendations. PLEASE don’t think that😂. I also do reviews on occasion, though I’m never harsh (not a traditional food critic).
I’m usually pretty clear when I highly recommend a place.
I am obsessed with food and everything that surrounds it, but my “food snob” days are behind me lol. I am here to celebrate, not to “one up” or shame others for their food choices. If you wanna weirdly flex about your taste by putting down others, that energy is not welcome here
PLEASE share your experiences when you go out to these restaurants. I will absolutely take back a recommendation based off of negative themes I am hearing from everyone. I am not married to any restaurant or product.
I do take paid opportunities and accept gifts/ free meals from brands. I will usually indicate that with the hashtag #ad or #gifted on IG. On here I just outright say, I was invited somewhere or gifted something.
Speaking of IG, that’s where I got started a few years back so feel free to follow me there too! instagram.com/charmcitytable…
Last thing I want to say for now is to own your food/restaurant experience. You know yourself and what you like. Do not hesitate to kindly send back a meal that was falsely advertised or ask for small modifications. Everyone does it and it doesn’t have to be a weird or bad convo
So tip well (until the industry starts paying their ppl a livable wage), eat good, and always feel free to ask me questions. I do have a busy day job so it might take me a day or 2 to answer but I will def respond.
Soul Kuisine’s hours! They are CLOSED on weekends*
