Omar Fernandez: My postal carrier is awesome. He walks the extra distance from my mail box to my front door to deliver packages right to the house.

Omar Fernandez: Because of COVID, we've needed so much overtime. The $25 billion stimulus money from the gov't would help replace the money we've had to spend on overtime.
We're non-profit. Most people don't understand that.

Omar Fernandez: The stimulus money would help us recoup costs from COVID that we haven't been able to. Letter rates haven't gone up although package rates have.

Omar Fernandez: Back in 2005, 2006 they did an investigation on the post office b/c all we heard was that we were losing money. We were doing fine; we just overpaid in our retirement.

Omar Fernandez: Then they came out w/ 2006 bill that made us save for 75 yrs of retirement in 10 years. We also had to pay the retirement for the vets who worked for us--the military no longer had to. It's like USPS had to subsidize the military.

Omar Fernandez: Both parties need to keep their hands off the USPS. I don't mind efficiency but we have to get the politics out of the postal service.

Omar Fernandez: 2020 is the year when people will wake up & see what's going on. The people are the leaders--as long as the people want it, we absolutely can do it.

Omar Fernandez: There are more ppl who don't vote than do vote.During the abolition movement, the Whigs & the Dems were the main parties, & a tiny Republican party came in & completely decimated the Whig party. There's a movement for a 3rd party again

Omar Fernandez: I have great insurance, but any time I need something done I need to do my own research: Is this doctor participating with my ins.? Is the facility participating? Is this service covered? I just want to go & get the care I need.
