Happy to launch the PM Street Vendor’s AtmaNirbhar Nidhi #PMSVANidhi online Dashboard today through video conferencing. As we make rapid progress towards Digital & #AtmaNirbharBharat, this Dashboard will act as a one stop solution for all stakeholders of the Scheme.
Dashboard is dynamic, interactive & will provide every single information related to tracking, monitoring & progress of #PMSVANidhi up to the city level. This is another huge leap in the ladder of the scheme as we add this Dashboard to other mobile Apps, Portal launched before.
Also delighted that @swiggy_in has agreed to pilot in aggregating the demand and providing logistic support to food vendors. Swiggy will take orders from customers for the street vendors & will provide supply chain for delivery of prepared food.
This will become a popular mode of delivery in cities that are famous for their street foods like Delhi, Mumbai, etc. This will assist consumers getting prepared hygienic street foods.
Since its commencement on 2 July 2020, more than 7.15 lakh applications have been received from street vendors for the working capital loan; over 1.70 lakh have been sanctioned; around 45,000 have been disbursed in various States/UTs.
Street vendors will be able to enter into the mainstream digital economy as mini entrepreneurs under #PMSVANidhi & will be able to achieve their ambition of going up the economic ladder for an #AtmaNirbharBharat.
