Why does using the hashtag #BlackLivesMatter remain one of the most important and subversive acts you can openly perform on social media?
Because all of the moments in this horrific collection happened even though they knew we were watching.

#BlackLivesMatter because even though they knew we were watching, they still didn't care. They didn't give a fuck. They don't give a fuck.
There are examples here of such blatant police state, anti-American, anti-Constitution overreach and abuse it caused me to vomit.
2/
#BlackLivesMatter because these few examples are not even a drop in the bucket (that is really a vast ocean) of other examines caught on video-and the countless thousands, nay millions, of other historical police injustices that were never recorded or witnessed.

If police did any of these things to young suburban white kids on a regular basis then I guarantee that criminal justice reform and policing reforms would have been enacted decades ago, and by now, these acts would have been eradicated, or at the very least rare.

The disdain some of these officers project toward the very citizens the are charged to, and publicly paid to, protect is beyond my capacity to understand.
These are their jobs.
No one said it would be easy.
Police should be trained, and that training should be exhaustive.

Accountability should not end because some egoist spends one year in coursework and field study at a police academy or junior college.
Even if any of these people end up learning anything about what it is to be an actual police officer, a year is a fucking joke.
There's no way that is enough time to address, let alone deprogram, the system of racial indoctrination most have received since birth.
Heightened racial antagonism by individual police is not really a de facto sin earned through experience.
It's a defect they bring.
