2009 CONTEMPT OF COURT CASE AGAINST PRASHANT BHUSHAN:
A three-Judge Bench headed by Justice AM Khanwilkar will take up for hearing the 2009 contempt case against Advocate Prashant Bhushan.

The matter was placed before Bench headed by Justice Arun Mishra earlier.
The Court will be considering larger questions pertaining to contempt of court and allegations against Judges.

Senior Adv Rajeev Dhavan: last time, AG Venugopal had indicated that he would assist the court. I pray that a notice be issued to him in this case

Dhavan: As per Rule 10 of the Supreme Court, Attorney General has to be invited. Court had said that it would add more questions of law on top of the 10 submitted by us
SC: We will direct the copies to be served to AG's office. He will appear as AG and if necessary as amicus
