Check out this video starting at about 23:30. In this video, Trevor was trying to prove that Nikola has tech capabilities.

In it, he claims that the inverters are made in house, and boasts about how they are the best in the world and that other OEMs ask him to use them.
But you can clearly see the units in the video. Earlier there's an even better close up shot to scrutinize.
Turns out they are completely off the shelf. They are made by Cascadia Motion (formerly Rinehart Motion Systems) and are the RM300DZ model.

Again, they are completely off the shelf. You could go buy one yourself right now! Then you would have just as much tech as Trevor. Maybe GM would buy you.
The best part is, he put a piece of green masking tape over the label so no one would see his deceit.
These are actually just the same PM250DZ off the shelf inverters that were spec'd into the Nikola One back in 2015, just in a die cast housing that Cascadia developed to make them cheaper. Here are those:

And here are those ones in the Nikola One. Again, completely off the shelf. Nikola was not involved in any way with their development.
Just a complete, provable fraud, and the masking tape shows intent.
