A thread on street art in Portugal.
Although there is a lot of regular graffiti, there is also some pretty cool street art.
This one was the side of a 4 level parking garage.

Some are small pieces like these on bricked up doors, walls, or on a power box.
Some are gigantic, covering entire walls of multi-story buildings and always make you appreciate the skill to be so accurate at such scale.
Some are slowly succumbing to nature, which really makes them look and feel part of the environment.
We have heard that the city gov is trying to remove graffiti and is giving permission for some street artists to do more. These are a few of the pieces by street artist Hazul - check out his great work here: instagram.com/hazul/
Some are political statements
While others are social statements
Some are cultural or literature figures, like this modern interpretation of Don Quixote and Sancho Panza
While others are just whimsy or a bit of fun
All in, this street art brings a bit of colour, humour and style to the gritty city of Porto and keeps us entertained as we hunt down new pieces.

This was a sad one, seems it was done around the time of the Aussie bushfires at end of 2109 start of 2020.
Seems very relevant with the US west coast ablaze now 🔥😥
