ఇప్పుడు కాకతీయులు కట్టిన ఆలయాలన్నీ అలాగే ఉన్నాయి. ప్రతి గుడి వద్ద భారీ చెరువులు దర్శనమిస్తాయి.ప్రస్తుతం వారు నిర్మించిన గుళ్లు శిథిలావస్థకు చేరడమే కాదు,కట్టిన చెరువులు ఆక్రమణకు గురై అసలు కనిపించకుండా పోయాయి. కాకతీయుల రాజధానిగా ఉన్న ఓరుగల్లు నగరంలో సహజంగా ఉన్న చెరువులు ఏకంగా 247.
ఇందులో ఒకటి రెండు కాదు ఏకంగా 52 కనుమరుగవ్వడం వల్లే నేడు నగరంలో వానలు కురవగానే చెరువుల్లోకి వెళ్లాల్సిన నీళ్లు ఇళ్లలోకి వెళ్లి, కాలనీలు నదులను తలపిస్తున్నాయి. ప్రజల కంట కన్నీరే మిగులుతోంది.

I think every University & College in India must have a small Public Museum in their campus portraying their key strengths. This will provide soft perspective, public outing & direction to the city, state and country.
