The story is getting bigger and bigger. As if the case last year of Frankfurt wasnt enough as these police officers even threat people wich spoke against the NSU (Right extremist group wich killed 10 Turkish /Greek foreigners in Germany)...

So far 29 officers are involved in 5 chat groups. All were suspended that morning and disciplinary action was taken against all of them. 14 officials are to be removed from the service. According to Reul, 25 officers belong to the Essen Police Headquarters.

In the morning, 200 police officers raided their colleagues. According to NRW interior minister Herbert Reul, 34 police stations and private apartments were searched.

In the chat groups, according to him, "the worst and most disgusting agitation" should have been carried out. 126 image files were distributed, including photos of Adolf Hitler, but also, for example, the fictional representation of a refugee in a gas chamber.

One of the chat groups was probably founded in 2013. Reul assumes that more suspects will be added. So far, you have only had a cell phone that you can use to get to the accused, said Reul on Wednesday in Düsseldorf. More cell phones were confiscated during the morning raids.

They will probably find clues to other chat participants through their evaluation, said Reul. The first cell phone belonged to a 32-year-old police officer in #Essen, according to the investigators. He was actually suspected of having disclosed official secrets to a journalist.

Citys I reades so far are cases reported into this icident: #Aachen, #Essen #Mühlheim and #Hamm
