White women think their anger is a revolution when in fact they’re just catching up w/revolution of rage the rest of us began ages ago.
In 2018, a white woman asked a panel I spoke on in NYC “How can I help ensure my daughter doesn’t lose Roe vs Woe” & I was going to explode.
I reminded her many many women of colour and poor women across the US had already lost reproductive rights. Where have you been?!

And here’s the thing: NYT discovered gender after Trump, WaPo discovered gender after #MeToo , & most “gender columnists/reporters/whatever” are white women. It’s like white women are the default & white women are the ones uniquely equipped to report on a problem they excel at.
And when I say this in public: e.g at Brooklyn BookFest last year, a white woman while I was signing her book said “Don’t other white women.”
What the actual fuck? How can I “other” white women?!
