The 7-day positivity average, which runs a week behind, ticks down to 3.9%, lowest since June 24. Among 1st-time patients, the average holds steady at 6.6%. Today's batch of tests came back 4.1% positive (all tests), 9.7% among unique patients.
815 Hoosiers are hospitalized with #coronavirus, 56 more than yesterday and the most in nine days. 272 of those are in intensive care, 18 more than yesterday and the most since August 29.
.@StateHealthIN's weekly #COVID scores, which combine positivity & cases per capita, show 58 counties in the minimal-risk "blue zone," 10 more than last wk. Monroe and Gibson Counties are moderate-to-high risk orange zone due to high case numbers, w/Monroe driven by cases at IU.

Wednesday also brings ISDH's weekly update on #coronavirus cases in #longterm care. LTC facilities recorded 236 new cases in the last week and 31 of IN's 58 new deaths. Not counting presumptive cases, 1,946 IN long-term care residents have died of #COVID19, 59% of the total.
