Here’s the thing - those in power, those who refuse to govern for the good of the people, they want you to believe that it’s all hopeless. That your vote doesn’t and won’t count. That you can’t make a difference.

Let me say this clearly.

THEY ARE FULL OF SHIT.

They want us to accept our fate as these disengaged nihilists who don’t participate, don’t believe in democracy, and don’t care what happens to our country or our planet because there’s nothing we can do about it anyway.

It’s the single biggest lie you’ve ever been told.

If your vote doesn’t matter, WHY ARE THEY TRYING SO HARD TO PREVENT YOU FROM VOTING?

We can save democracy. We can deal with climate change. We can fix healthcare in America. We can protect reproductive rights. We can end institutionalized inequality.

We can and we will.

We just have to make sure our walk lines up with our talk, that’s all.

Talk about it, then BE about it.

Because the numbers are on our side. There are more of us than there are of them, and when We The People decide to change the world around us, we literally always win.

So, listen. I know the world looks bleak, and I know you may be feeling frustrated, beaten down and defeated.

You aren’t.

You’re strong as hell, and we are going to win this. This starts with you, so get up and brush yourself off.
