Day 13 in #AssangeCase extradition hearing. 40 political and NGO observers are still banned from observing the proceedings. Fitzgerald says that the prosecution sent a cross-examination evidence was sent last night at 11.30pm, it is 5am where he is and asks for an hour.

When he has had time to read the prosecution bundle, we expect testimony from Patrick Eller, digital forensics expert, on the computer crime charge and the alleged agreement between Assange & Chelsea Manning to crack a password in 2010.

Patrick Ellers will argue that the allegation against Assange regarding the password cracking issue is not possible, and if it were it was not used for the purpose the government alleges.

Judge grants 50 more minutes for Ellers to review.

Fitzgerald is asking for 4 weeks time for final oral submissions using the Rwanda case as an example and saying the the first time he saw #Assange in six months was the day of the beginning of the hearing.

I can only say this is a very interesting line of questioning.

It was domscheit's copy of the encrypted file that appears to have been mirrored.

Defence asks for an psychologist expert in US prisons be heard. Lewis objects, they would need an adjustment to further cross-examination.
Lewis complains about last minute submissions even though the replacement indictment was only handed to #Assange the day of the hearing.

Fitzgerald: the prosecution says they need to cross-examine but we have no right to cross-examine his submissions from Kromberg. We need to understand the conditions under which Mr #Assange would be held in the US.

Baraitser denies the expert witnesses on conditions that would be able to describe the conditions in which #Assange would be held.

Manning had already downloaded the Gitmo files, Rules of engagement, Iraq and Afghanistan before the alleged hash cracking conversation.

Manning had a username on this government computer. Had a local account specific to the computer, not the domain, no access to the wider network within the SCIF (Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility)

Summers: if Manning had access to the FTP she could have gone to the cipernet, and then the interlik site. If Manning would have downloaded the Gitmo files would she have been able to do this anonymously.

Eller: no, her IP would have been recorded.
