I survived #COVIDー19. Just wanted to say thanks to all those who prayed for me, wished speedy recovery, arranged for every possible thing for smooth testing and medication. It was a tough battle for me given that I had high BP and asthma issues
A battle that begun on August 30 with a mild fever and migraine finally was diagnosed as #Covid19 on September 4. symptoms started showing strongly & I was home isolated. Body ache, breathlessness, skin rashes, lack of taste , smell, head reeling, headache, fatigue
Started on a whole lot of treatment in consultation with doc friends. Vitamins and betadine gargle inhalation, azithromycin, neuro vitamins, Crocin pain relief. No appetite and tea, which I was addicted to, was something that made me puke. Add to it dysentery
None from BMC called up till 6th day of diagnosis. Then a lady called to ask me whether I know I was positive. 😁 am surprised, she didn’t ask anything else and neither was her voice anything to make the patient feel good. No calls from any BMC person so far.
For everyone’s information Aarogya Setu app got me informed on the very day I tested positive. And it said as per ICMR records, am positive. Finally now when I have recovered, I find some friends down with the virus. Anyone facing problem can discuss with me by sending me a DM
Problems I still face is fatigue & BP fluctuations. Am a high BP patient (normally 140/90) but now it’s 110/66. So a little unstable. Special thanks to Dr Sanghamitra Pati, RMRC head, a close friend, who suggested to remain strong as many symptoms may continue for 2 months.
#Addition: please have ORS throughout the day and homemade “kadha” at least twice a day. Warm lemon water also helps.
