Daszak not only funded risky bat #coronavirus research in Wuhan but orchestrated the branding of any suggestions of a lab-leak as “conspiracy theories”. Daszak's also a long-term friend and collaborator (as well as funder!) of the Wuhan lab he'll now supposedly be investigating.
After the pandemic began, Daszak claimed lab leaks are rare and had never led to serious disease outbreaks (fact: they're common and caused at least one previous pandemic!) Now it's emerged Daszak himself had warned about the dangers of a lab accident sparking a global pandemic!!
