Like everyone else I’m loving @wandavision! So my new project is to make an illustration for each episode in the style of cartoons from the time - so first up is episode 1: 1950s!

Time for episode two, this time inspired by 1960s cartoons & animation. Loved this moment in the show

Okay so it wouldn’t be a proper 70s animation tribute if I didn’t full on embrace Scooby Doo for this #Wandavision drawing inspired by episode 3. Hope you like it!

So it’s time for episode 4 - which is in the real world so I figured I’d break with the historical order & embrace a more cinematic & current art style. Plus I LOVE these characters. Would definitely watch a spin off buddy series with these two!

We’ve made it to episode 5 & the glorious 1980s, a time of He-Man, She-Ra, Thundercats & Agnes from #WANDAVISION . Had an absolute blast with this one.

I’m trying to avoid major spoilers, but obviously there’ll still be some so be warned!

Phew! We’ve made it to the 90s!

#WandaVision Episode 6 made me so nostalgic for my time watching superhero cartoons in the 90s that I HAD to embrace it. The Batman, Spider-Man & Xmen animated cartoons inspired me to become an artist so this is my chance to celebrate them

It's taking me longer to make these since I'm back at work full time - so I thought today I'd share a process gif of episode 6. I always start with the sketch, then basic colours & then any effects & lighting.

It’s episode 7 and #WandaVision has reached the 2000s! In animation flash was making a huge impact on animation styles with Dexter’s Lab, Kim Possible & Fairly Odd Parents inspiring me. Hope you enjoyed the finale yesterday but I’m keeping this spoiler free for now!

Still working on episode 8 - there were so many moments in that episode to choose from! In the meantime here's another process gif for episode 7. Often my sketches are nothing like the end version, but this didn't change so much! #wandavision

It's episode 08 from #WandaVision. There were so many great moments to choose from but this just felt right (and relatively spoiler free!).

The 2010s were amazing for animation with shows like Adventure Time, Steven Universe & Gravity Falls inspiring this illustration.

It's hard to know where to even start with the illustration for the finale - in the meantime, here's the process of the illustration for episode 08. I thought I'd add the scene from the episode so you can see how it informed the final image.
