Notionโa tool you don't get one day, then ๐ง๐๐๐ก๐ก๐ฎ get it the next.
Here's how the @ProductLed team uses @NotionHQ to run our company: ๐งต
Let's start with marketing.
Our Head of Content created a Marketing page with different projects for each channel โ metrics, website updates, repurposing content, optimizing content, case studies, email marketing
Inside one of these projects are tasks.
Priority and state are automatically picked up once you've set the due date for each task.
You can attach google docs, and assign tasks to people โ so things to get lost in Slack!
For our training programs, we have a kanban-style board of the things that need to be done.
Once again, we attached google docs, video files, email copy so things don't get lost in Slack or email.
For our live events and summits with guest experts and speakers, our Director of Operations created tables.
It has the speaker, topic of the talk, category, video style, and link to their talk.
Once again, everything is in one place so nothing gets lost in Slack or email.
For company strategy, we have a whole folder for that.
This includes our north star metric, initiatives, OKRs, quarterly plans.
This has made it easy to onboard new employees. It's essentially our company wiki.
Our HR docs are here as well.
As we plan out the growth of the company, we scope out future hire and what an ideal team looks like.
We also have our "Unique Abilities" or the personality of each team member.
Talking about ProductLed, we have our product strategy planning in Notion as well.
Most of the details of our products are in Google Docs. But we link it here so things don't get lost.
If I had to sum up @NotionHQ's value to our company, it's the hub that connects all the documents, files, & ideas for both strategic planning & execution.
Things get lost in Slack or email. Google Drive folder structure can become spaghetti.
Not perfect. But it works for now.
That's a wrap!
