1. A must read thread to understand #WestBengalViolence

Statistical projections were done on two sets of given data.
I: Average voter turnout as per ECI was 75%
II: Religious demography of #WestBengal as extrapolated from 2011 Census data i.e WB has 67% Hindus, 31% Muslims &

2. 2%—other faiths.

Thru' statistical projections frm given data & certain assumptions regarding factors whr exact data were not available, % of votes casted appeared to be distributed as follows.

Hindus 45%,Muslims 29%
&Others 1%—Total 75% (approx voter turnout—ECI) #Bengal

3. Out of all Hindu voters of #WestBengal,
—41.6% voted to BJP
—10.9% to TMC
—14.6% to LEFTs, Congress, ISF, Independent, NOTA etc. combined

—32.8% stayed away from voting altogether.

4. Out of all Muslim voters of #WestBengal,
—91% voted to TMC
—1% to BJP
—2% to LEFTs, Congress, ISF, Independent, NOTA etc. combined

—only 6% stayed away from voting

5. Out of 100% casted Hindu Votes in #WestBengal

—62% went to BJP
—16.2% to TMC &
—21.8% to LEFTs, Congress, ISF, Independent, NOTA etc. combined.

Those who're saying WB HINDUS didn't vote much for BJP, r wrong.

Is greater consolidation than 62% desirable in a Democracy?

6. As per ECI data, #bjp4bengal received 38.1% of total casted votes. #WestBengalViolence

Out of this 38.1% vote share of BJP, Hindu votes accounted for 37.2%.

(62% of 67.2% of 67% out of total 75%)

7. This also means that 97.6% votes casted to BJP, came from Hindus of #WestBengal.

[Please kindly note, all previous ideas spread by BJP IT Cell that Muslim women would vote for BJP etc. appears misconceptions.]

8. On the other hand, out of 100% of casted Muslim Votes,
—97.1% to TMC
—1% to BJP
—1.9% to LEFTs, Congress, ISF, Independent, NOTA etc. combined

Is such sectional consolidation a sign of democracy? Muslims of #WestBengal voted without any democratic variance. ALL FOR TMC.

9. As per ECI data, TMC received 47.9% of the total casted votes. Out of this 47.9% vote share of TMC, Muslim votes accounted for 37.5%.

(97.1% of 93.5% of 31% out of total 75%)

Muslims of #WestBengal didn't want #SonarBangla as promised by BJP.

10. This also means that 78.3% votes casted to TMC, came from Muslims.

Isn't this huge sectional consolidation behind TMC in #WestBengal a corroborative evidence of sectional appeasement?

Didn't a democracy fail the very moment when sectional appeasement began?

11. 83.8% Hindus who voted, VOTED AGAINST TMC

—62% Hindus who’d voted,voted for BJP
—Even LEFTs, Congress, ISF, Independent,NOTA got 21.8% of Hindu votes, way more than what TMC got.
—Only 16.2% Hindus voted for TMC

Strong anti-incumbency amongst Hindus of #WestBengal existed.

12. Hindu voters aggrieved of TMC, voted unhesitatingly for BJP.

Out of all anti-incumbent Hindu votes of #WestBengal, 73.99% went to BJP.

All other opposition candidates combined secured only 26.01% of Hindu votes.

Hindus DID vote for BJP please note.

13. The miniscule number of anti-TMC Muslims of #WestBengal too didn't vote for BJP.

65.52% of anti-incumbent Muslims voted for LEFT/CONG/ISF/NOTA

This shows Muslims' desperate antipathy against BJP.

NO EFFORT OF BJP TO WOO MUSLIMS WOULD BE ELECTORALLY FRUITFUL, IT SEEMS.

14. Fair distribution of Hindu votes (SAFFRON CHUNKS) across parties is in congruence with democracy. Hindus of #WestBengal exercised their voting rights as per own choice & opinion.

Muslims formed a robotically consolidated army (THE HUGE GREEN CHUNK) to use Election as war.

15. While Saffron Chunks r distributed across different political parties, the huge GREEN CHUNK is unified under d umbrella of TMC who're attacking units of the SAFFRON CHUNKS. Is #WestBengalViolence post war plunder & mayhem by GREEN BRIGADE in reality? Data suggests so. (END)
