O2 production has increased from 5,700 MT/day in Aug 2020 to 9,446 MT/day in May 2021, a jump of almost 75% in a few months.

Ventilators • There were only around 20,000 ventilators in the entire country pre-COVID.

Today, there are 58,103 ventilators available in all the states, almost 3 times the pre-COVID figure.

Ventilators • Under #PMCares, 35,058 ventilators have been allotted to States & UTs; 33,627 of them have been delivered & 32,479 have been installed.

K'taka has 2,913 functioning ventilators today, almost 8% of the total ventilators in the country.

Remdesivir • Government of India has ensured a 68% increase in production capacity from 38L to 119L vials per month

Accelerated approvals increased manufacturing sites from 22 to 60, almost triple the number!

Remdesivir • Karnataka has been allocated 10.84% of the total allocation to the States of Remdisivir by the Central Government. This adds up to 5,75,000 vials up to May 16, 2021.

Medical College Seats • In 7 years, UG medical seats increased by 55.74% from 54,352 to 84,648.

PG Seats increased from 24,242 to 44,136, a whopping 82.06% increase in just 6 years.

Medical College Seats • In Karnataka, the number of UG medical seats increased from 6,905 to 9,445 in 7 years, an increase of 36.78%.

PG Seats increased by 52.81% from 3,548 to 5,422 in 6 years.

Nursing Seats • As of 2020, the number of nursing colleges in India was 5,085, producing potentially 2,93,277 nurses every year.

Karnataka has 621 nursing institutions, having 41,218 seats every year, which is 14% of India's nursing seats.

PPEs & N95 Masks • India was a country importing PPE kits & was relying on donations for N95 masks.

Today, we have reached remarkable levels of production for both the essential items.

K'taka has been supplied 8.54L PPEs & 20.31L N95 Masks from GoI.

PPEs & N95 Masks • 1.69 Cr PPE kits have been supplied to States, UTs & others. Its supply has increased 45 times since pre lockdown from 1.86L to 84.6L kits

PM Cares • The PM has so far conducted 14 meetings with CMs for overall Covid-19 management.

Out of Rs. 4,698 Cr allocated from #PMCaresFund, Rs. 3,975.72 Cr has been released to all the States.
