1/9 Weekly #COVID19 update from our 5 academic med centers: 8,449 #SARSCoV2 positive patients admitted to date in our 12 hospitals; 5,851 discharged home to date. @UofCAHealth hospitals cared for 57 #SARSCoV2 positive inpatients yesterday. Some inpatient tests may be pending.

2/7 21 #SARSCoV2 positive inpatients are in one of our Intensive Care Units. Note the rest of these ICU beds are not empty; patients with pending results and with other conditions besides #COVID19 are also in the ICU.

3/7 13 #COVID19 @UofCAHealth inpatients are on a ventilator. 6 COVID19 inpatients are on extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO).

4/7 629,932 patients have received #SARSCoV2 test results to date; 38,153 had detectable virus. Last 7 day positive rate = 0.7%.

5/7 2,594 @UofCAHealth patients were tested for #SARSCoV2 yesterday. (Of course, our hospital labs test more patients for other medical centers, but they are not counted here.)

6/7 Trend line shows rolling 7 day average #SARSCoV2 positive test rates. The map shows where the past 7 days positive patients are from. Our tested @UofCAHealth patients are from across California, and indeed from across the country.

7/7 @UofCAHealth includes the 5 academic medical centers @UCSDHealth @UCLAHealth @UCIrvineHealth @UCSFHospitals @UCDavisHealth, as well as @UCRiverside, with 20 health professional schools, 5000+ faculty physicians, 12000+ nurses, and 14000+ students. ucop.edu/uc-health/
