In the current climate change scenario, we need to reduce our carbon footprint. We need to explore alternatives green in nature and friendlier to the environment. Solar and Wind Energy, two such promising alternatives, being extensively used in India: Prof Nanjundiah, @iitmpune

.@moesgoi has implemented Ensemble Forecasting System, which is capable of dealing with the uncertainties of the NWD forecast. The ensemble forecasting systems are of very high resolution, which can help in issuing a range of forecasts in the energy sector: Head, @ncmrwfmoes
