Of course it was pretty easy to see this coming if you understand how they are draining the Swamp...
Swampy public utility commissions, taking Swamp bribes along with the Swampy politicians who appoint them, all for Swampy companies that get to rob from the citizens for pennies on the dollar...
So do you think the Swamp drafted the laws for these nonprofit corporations to allow the concealment of bribes to politicians through corporate shell companies registered as 501)c)(4)s?

@nimkef This is how you drain the Swamp. You cut off the sources & flows of corrupt money into the Swamp. You don't spearfish individual Swamp creatures. You dam the rivers & pick them up out of the mud when it dries out.
FirstEnergy admitting this, gave every FBI agent probable cause...
Untold affidavits will be sworn stating "...probable cause based upon information & belief that 501(c)(4)s are a mechanism used to conceal payments to govt. officials for the purpose of influencing the legislative process..."

FirstEnergy flipped against the guys who made corrupt deals with Lex Wexner, the guy who signed over power of attorney to Epstein.
Another of the people FirstEnergy flipped on.
Matt Borges, an associate of John Kasich, who Kasich picked to head the Ohio Republican Party & lead the Never Trumpers.
And it's not just Ohio, this is happening all over the country. Yet media is ignoring what it means.
Including Illinois, where Commonwealth Edison reached a similar deal for bribing former Illinois Speaker of the House Madigan & others.

But the FBI had the reciepts, including using suspected undercover FBI agents posing as sports betting clients to 'lobby' for them.

The Swamp's top earning lobbying firm unsuccessfully lobbied the Trump team for a bail out. A scheme Trump 'claimed' to support, but which promptly died after the sting had what it needed...
Isn't it a conflict of interest to be both the lobbyist & legal counsel for this?
We may have to look at every effort to use the Defense Production Act as a sting against the Swampy lobbyists.

FirstEnergy also brough in the Dewey Square Group a PR & Fake News outfit to engineer support for this bailout.
They use the term "grassroots mobilization" to describe how they dupe people with fake news to take sides on a political issue to favor their corporate clients.

It looks like they may have even pushed out the former Speaker Cliff Rosenberger with an alleged FBI investigation, let a real Swamp creature in Householder take the job with a narrow majority in a bipartisan Swamp vote.
But Householder played hard to get after the resignation, leaving the entire Ohio house in disarray until he came forward to take the Swampy reins.
Wonder if it drove up his price...
Now I have no clue if Rosenberger is guilty or not, he was investigated for dealins with some of the pay day loans lobbyists that others have been indicted for...
Was he set up & FBI didn't have anything to charge him with? Or did he flip real early...
