Until the Thailand Pass system is launched on 1st November, you must continue to use COE. In fact, the first person with a Thailand Pass is not expected to arrive until 12th November, as it takes 7 days to process. [THREAD]

Vaccinated people from countries on the list must book one night at a SHA+ hotel which will include hotel transfer and a RT-PCR test. In theory you can book a hotel in Pattaya or Hua Hin. But it’s advisable to spend the first night in Bangkok.

After you go through Immigration and customs, you cannot have a friend meet you. The driver will either take you straight to the hotel, if they have facilities for testing, or he will take you to a testing center first and then your hotel.

You must stay in your hotel room that night until you get your test results. If negative, you can check-out the next day and go to any province in Thailand. If positive, you must then go to hospital for further tests.

For vaccinated people not on the list of approved countries, they must book 7 nights in one of 17 tourist sandbox provinces. They must sleep in that one province for 7 nights. If they test negative on the last day, they can then go anywhere they like in Thailand.

The third group is for unvaccinated people. They must do hotel quarantine. Children under 12 accompanied by parents are exempt if they have a Covid free test. Older children must do quarantine if not vaccinated.
