Rainfall has been comparatively lower today. We have approximately recieved 15mm rains today.

317 locations were waterlogged. Now only 177 places are still seeing water stagnation.

Chennai Corporation Commissioner:

Over 7 lakh food packets, including dinner, was distributed to people affected by #ChennaiRains.

Recieved over 1500 calls today through 1913 helpline.

169 shelters are ready. 58 of them operational, where 1288 persons stayed in the night.
