1. 😳 MASSIVE anti-Kenney and anti-mask protests broke out outside of the UCP AGM,

It was so bad, some UCP delegates were prevented from attending the event and could t vote.

2. Kenney’s last minute motion to subvert the leadership review rules by increasing the number of UCP CA’s required to pass a leadership review FAILS!

Kenney will now face an early leadership review.

3. *Surprise** Seasoned journalist @Mitchell_AB, was denied access to the AGM!

After the UCP confirmed she was on a media list, screened her into the venue, handed her a media pass…they suddenly said she was no longer recognized by the UCP and asked to leave!

4. Former Wildrose Party leader Danielle Smith is now **maybe** interested in taking over the UCP

5. An MD Conscious Rights motio passed; This would allow MD’s to refuse issuing contraceptive devices, ignore women’s rights, and deny care for transgender patients

6. ~1,200 provincial court cases involving serious & violent crimes are at risk of being stayed because of a shortage of prosecutors

7. Alberta’s Ambulance services are in crisis. Ambulances are now forced to respond from areas an hour or more away.

8. 😬 During the Legislative Public Accounts Committee, both De. Hinshaw & Dr. Yiu admitted that AHS had FAILED to do any COVID-19 modelling or projections during wave 2.

This modelling could have help stopped the early spread of the disease.

9. The UCP claim they can't offer in-school Covid vaxes to kids as “parents need consent”, ignoring permission slips exist (and currently give inoculations)

10. Alberta’s the ONLY Canadian province where residents can’t use their QR code for international travel

11. On Wednesday, the Alberta website used to generate QR Codes for Albertans went down, leaving hundreds without codes.

12. On Thursday, the UCP admitted that the site was down because of “dozens of data breaches”.

13. Environmental groups are threatening to sue Jason Kenney for defamation if he doesn’t retract and apologize for statements saying a public inquiry found they spread misinfo about the province’s O&G industry.

Kenney has to respond and apologize by next week

17. This is the deadliest year EVER recorded for kids in Alberta’s child intervention system

After UCP MLA Schultz promised to not cut supports for former foster children, she cut 2/3 of them. 16 kids died since April. Shultz promised she’s “working on it”
