Ctd1) So there is a concern that the #Omicron is diversifying pretty fast, that concern in a population where 20% has HIV is a legitimate issue

Ctd2) All Variants of Concern have such clusters of sudden increase of mutations,the issue is they are coming up in an area where only 70% get access to Antiretroviral (HIV Tt) therapy,help needs to go a further step ahead - covid vaccines, antiretrovirals,logistics& Monoclonals

Ctd7) @Antonio_Caramia made a good chart of cases & these have grown at astronomical rates, almost 6 times in last 2-3 weeks , we know that if cases rise hospitalizations & deaths rise in 4 to 6 weeks later .They will overwhelm hospitals .We know 18% infected need hospitals.

Ctd9) Yesteray We had updated that we expect that the RTPCR will work out fine ( if not better) and @michaelmina_lab had said he expected the Lateral Flow ( Rapid Tests ) would've been fine, here is more information that they are working

Ctd10) @davidrliu clearly shows the rate of change in spike protein and since Moderna /AZ /Pfizer all work at the spike protein there's fair chance that they MAY take a hit( so many mutations there).Oral medications like Paxlovid, Molnupiravir may not take that big a hit ctd)
