The largest 3 utilities (NPPD, OPPD, LES) serve a vast majority of customers in Nebraska. Additional customers receive electricity from MEAN, Tri-State, and municipal or cooperative generation resources. A few customers are not yet covered by zero carbon policy commitment.
In order to begin delivering on this outcome, @OPPDCares is moving forward on Power with Purpose to install utility scale solar, modernized gas, and to cease coal operations at the North Omaha facility.

There will be a huge amount of work needed to deliver on these policy outcomes, creating #CleanEnergyJobs in communities across our state. I’m glad to help lead an organization which is dedicated to #ClimateAction #CleanEnergy #LocalPower 🌞🔌⚡️✊
