Undoubtedly, #NextGenerationEU has been the flagship initiative of the #vdLCommission in 2021.
💚More than a recovery plan, it is a chance to emerge stronger from the pandemic, transform our economies, and create opportunities for the Europe where we want to live.

✅Most vaccinated region in the world.
✅More than 1 billion vaccine doses exported worldwide.
✅Biggest donor of vaccines in the world.

🌳 In 2021, our #EUGreenDeal turned 2 years old.
Over this year, we've presented a plan to cut emissions by 55% by 2030 and several actions to boost investment and protect our biodiversity.
We will continue leading the fight against climate change in 2022 to save our planet!

🔬🧬Our #EUCancerPlan is our political commitment to turn the tide against cancer.
This year, we gave another steppingstone towards a stronger #HealthUnion for everyone to have the same right to high-quality care, diagnosis and treatment.

♿ In 2021, we also took concrete steps towards building a #UnionOfEquality, where people with disabilities can participate equally in all areas of life.
This year, we presented the #EUDisabilityRights strategy for 2021-2030 to ensure that no one is left behind.
🔌 This year we also proposed a common charger for mobile phones and other similar electronic devices.
We aim to reduce electronic waste and the fuzz of having several cables for different devices.
The USB-C will be the standard in our main electronic devices.
