I've only been in the space for 10 months and this is my story. I have no real investment experience and it will be painfully obvious.
$25K to $15K to $100K. Back down to $30K

March-May 21': slowly invested $25K into BTC, ETH, some Defi, gaming, and shit coins.
I had no idea what I was doing. Didn't really know how to research.
May-July 21': Summer crash. Most of my altcoins died to -90%. My portfolio was down -50%
Put in another $10K - bought more BTC, ETH, some other L1s (DOT, KSM, SOL, ADA) and started looking into NFTs.
Did the KSM Auctions too. MOVR was huge.
July-Nov 2021: Everything Green.
Took profits regularly but quickly reinvested my winnings into much more riskier assets with hit and miss.
Big wins were: $MOVR, Jungle Freaks NFT, $SOL, $WEAPON, $SAITO, $VRA, $CATO (if i had taken profits), $MANA
Dec 21'-Jan 22': Streets are red
Lesson I've learned and will be implementing for 2022.
1) When taking profits: put 50%-80% into stable coins and earn passive income. The other 20% you can reinvest and play.
2) Pick a lane. The crypto space is huge and so much is happening all the time. You'll always be behind something.
It's easier to just choose a niche and learn it well.
3) Don't try and time the bottom or top. Enter a little late and leave a little early .
Be ok if I missed a few Xs. The goal is to survive and have cash for opportunities like this.
It's a marathon not a sprint.
4) Don't over diversify.
I had my $$ in so many places (even in things I didn't care too much about). I'm going to focus the small amount of capital I have left and focus on the projects that get me excited.
5) Copy paste @PRINTMYMINT and @PLATOONDAO for all my NFT moves. LOL
6) Remember financial freedom = control your time.
In the pursuit to be financially free I would be on this 24/7. Forgetting to step away and spend more time with loves ones.
Regain my time, focus my energy, and balance my life better.

I'm new to the space and learning as i go. Which I think most of us are. It's a great time to be alive and investing and feel fortunate to have this opportunity.
My portfolio is bleeding but I'm really pumped for 2022 and beyond.
