There is a family with a young boy standing in front of some riot cops “holding the line.” Not gonna tweet the photo of the kid for obvious reasons but here’s the cops.
Shouts of “hold the line” as Quebec cops (shipped in as reinforcement) and protestors show off. Tear gas guns and a couple long rifles are clearly displayed by the cops.
A younger guy behind me just explained to an older woman what kettling is.
People on the front line trying to convince cops to join them and others chanting “stand with us.”
Still the cops are moving in slowly.
As you know, media not super popular here. One man is spending his day pointing out a news crew and telling people where they are and to “let them know your thoughts.”

Police still slowly making advancements and a couple arrests. Took some video but then my phone died so posting them now.
#FreedomConvoy protestors have been pushed back further on the last hour than they were all day.
At 3:30 or so in the morning protestors are shovelling snow on the barricades to make police advancements in the AM harder.
The mood is odd and serious. Many cars and trucks inside this area have already bailed so what they’re protecting is shrinking.
