For those not realising how severely Lismore has been impacted, amongst houses and shops that went under, also police station, fire station, centrelink, disability services, op shops such as St Vincent's, Lifeline etc, all went under water. Looting is rife and many ...

cars and homes that survived the floods are now being subjected to break ins. Have heard various reports of vehicles having windows smashed in by bricks or tearing off their mirrors to smash to look for change. My daughters last pair of shoes was stolen from the back door.

Lismore is a regional city and centre for the Northern Rivers and we're suffering in many ways.

Considering how this test has blown up I thought I might add some photos so I've been out this afternoon.

Lismore has 17 petrol stations. On the day of the flood it was reduced to 2. Only 1 station has reopened at this time giving Lismore a grand total of 3 for 27,000 people.

Wondering where your Norco icecream and milk products have gone? That's right ... underwater. Along with their rural suppliers as well as other rural suppliers. #norco

Local state member, alp's Janelle Saffin's office and Federal member, lnp's Kevin Hogan. After swimming for her life Janelle went on to help connect desperate people who needed saving but couldn't get through to the SES &used fb to get help. Don't know where Hogan was.

Richmond River High School is well used to flooding. Students get a day or 2 off and once the waters subside they're back to it. The students are now being split between Lismore High and Kadina High. Private schools have been impacted too but not sure what's happening there.

South Lismore Public School is also used to floods and raised a well but decided to sandbag as well. Alas it didn't work out so well for them. The collection of boats along the fence line is testament to that.

Craig at #rollerworldlismore found a house had hit his skating rink. The house floated from 2 blocks away bumping of trees and poles before landing on the business. Flood water reached approx 6.5m up the wall of the rink, a little bit below the first beam above the large window.

Australia Post had to get new bikes in from Sydney after the Post Centre, the Lismore PO, Wyrallah Rd PO and the South Lismore PO were all flood affected.

This car dealership is on built up land that normally sees through floods however not this time.

Lismore had 7 pharmacies and now we have 2. Many people have had their scripts on file lost, left without their medications. Some doctors surgeries have gone underwater too.

Dentists too. I see my cardiologist in the rooms below.

Houses are dirty and damaged, even the ones that were sparkling for sale!

Small businesses everywhere have been wiped out.

But the music has been going and the spirit is soaring as people gather around Browns Creek Pump Station.

I'm gong to leave it there for tonight but will add more tomorrow. The Red Cross Flood Appeal is on right now Channels 7, 9 and 10.

There are lots of GoFundMe's for many individuals and families and I will endeavour to start sharing these as well.
