I loooove fashion and live for a red carpet.

But in my view, the #Oscars2022 red carpet looks are a bit of a dud this year.

I feel like the tailoring on most of the dresses is... off? Like, weird hemlines, verrrry weird boob/chest cutouts and .... wrinkled? Such a bummer.

I love this woman. Period. She is also a major style icon for me. 9/10, I love her looks.

But I can't get over how bad this dress is. The tailoring up top is terrrrible. The waist/hemline are not cooperating. It straight up looks like it doesn't fit properly.

Another disappointment for me.

The colour is too cool on her fair skin and in certain lights, you can see wrinkles in the dress. Which will certainly only get worse after she sits in it!

... I have questions.

Okay, so my votes for best #Oscars red carpet looks on women :

Rosie Perez in Christian Siriano? DIVINE.
This rose gold shouldn't work on Chastain but IT DOES.
Zendaya giving an updated Sharon Stone Oscars look? YES
Lupita's gold razzle dazzle? DAZZLED ME.

And this year's "I do not know how I feel about it yet" look is Kristen Stewart's.

I love how it continues her tradition of throwing a middle finger at Hollywood conventions. It's a great look. I think what throws me is that terrible, fresh-outta-the-shower hair.

As for the men, they are generally less exciting with few exceptions.

Chalamet showing up tits out? I don't hate it. He's always a bit edgy for the Oscars and although this feels very "Shawn Mendes at the Met Gala", I think he pulls it off.

I also love this look from Andrew Garfield.

Great tailoring, great colour, great fabric.
