And the truth is, history will hardly ever be peaceful. It can be very triggering and unfair. And more often than not, you won’t be straight up be taught the truth, only the whitewashed version that makes others look good. (4/6)

Even when psychology & science progresses, sometimes it gets sidetracked by the wrong crowd. Its so normal to see Autism Parents overshadow autistic voices and victimize themselves, and we end up getting stuck in misinformation. (5/6)

And when we hit that point of misinformation, all we have to do is sit down, listen to the community, research reliable sources, & amplify POC voices. Specially if you hold privilege like I do. (6/6)
