This thread is meant to showcase the dubious events surrounding secret deals btwn separatists rebel entities in northern somalia and western govt/intelligence agencies and multinational and US think thanks.

The story starts in 2016 when the UAE out of nowhere enters into an illegal agreement with a rebel separatists group in northern somalia ( somaliland ) making the fed govt of Somalia immediately declare the agreement null & void and relations btwn 🇦🇪 & 🇸🇴 are strangled.

The hostile actions of the uae obviously led to somali intelligence agencies paying close attention to their activities in 🇸🇴 and in 2018 they seize millions of dollars in suitcases flown in by uae officials at aden adde airport in mogadishu and bilateral relations collapse

The uae next to the 450 million dollar berbera port deal also decides to build a military base in berbera and constructs the berbera airport and extends and reconstructs the airports runway to fit international standards! ( NATO standards )

The separatists ( somaliland ) who were in talks with the central government of 🇸🇴 mediated by turkey out of nowhere demand that the 🇬🇧 & 🇺🇸 to be included in the next rounds of talks and want to hold the next round of talks in Djibouti and no longer turkey !

The 🇺🇸 and 🇬🇧 facilite the meeting and are even present at the meeting !! What i immediately noticed was the title of the meeting ! Somalia somaliland talks ! Why would the fed govt agree to that ?? isnt that already conceding ground to the separatists ?? Why ??

Here is proof of the fact that the somali govt actually are sensitive and know how to articulate and use the correct term when they reffer to the northern separatists !! Here they clearly call themselves the government and them somaliland wich is the official position of 🇸🇴

So we can from that conclude that the fed government didn’t had any saying in the architecture of the meeting !! But who did ? Farmaajo was literally pushed by 🇺🇸 and 🇬🇧 to go to the meeting and everybody decided to call it 🇸🇴/somaliland even after complaints of the govt!

The meeting was a disaster for the fed govt and they couldn’t understand what the 🇺🇸 & 🇬🇧 wanted !! Why were they pushing the case so hard and are setting them up !! The central govt delegate were all hardcore unionist and didn’t agree on anything and left confused !!

After this strange event immediately after there came more 👇👇 the separatist leader was being invited to kenya and foreign ex diplomats from poor African countries traveling to them and many more events but what made everything clear to the 🇸🇴 govt was taiwan !!

The 🇸🇴 govt understood that the 🇦🇪 a US proxy actually build the airport for NATO use and the bosaso port deal to keep china out ! Guess who has a stake in the illegal port deal ? The uk 🇬🇧 and i can assure you these deals are years in the making ! 🇦🇪 acted as an scapegoat

politicians in mogadishu believed with a new biden-harris administration in Washington the 🇺🇸 would no longer engange the separatists or entertain them !! There is some truth to it and it seems the biden administration doesn’t have an interest in dividing up 🇸🇴

It seems the separatists are being promoted by predominantly republicans and institutes like the Atlantic council who have an investment in the anti china activities in the horn !! And the separatists with their rhetoric try to appeal to them !!

The separatists clearly noticed the lack of interests of the biden administration so they upped their game went to taiwan and insulted china on world stage and immediately afterwards whent to the 🇺🇸 to see if their stunt had worked !!

It was a complete disaster and the biden administration to the anger of some of the invested right wing individuals and institutes in the states !! It seems now the 🇬🇧 & 🇺🇸 both wanna use the northern facilities against china but maintain good relations with mogadishu !

The truth is 🇸🇴 was declared a battlefield against china by right wing institutions and politicians in the 🇬🇧 and 🇺🇸 !! But recent statements of the 🇺🇸 and 🇬🇧 on respecting 🇸🇴’s sovereignty shows that the democrats essentially want the same but have a vanilla approach!
