As you can see and per usual, I’m gonna keep digging up🌲🧾🌳 until folk finally wake the FUCK up. #WeTriedToTellYall the 2015 Charleston massacre was the opening shots of the GOP’s Make America White Again civil war 2.0 but NO, the MSM repackaged it as “economic anxiety”. 😒

In other words, nobody gets to pretend there weren’t red flags b/c the homegrown White supremacist terrorists have literally been flying bloody swastikas and Confederate stars & bars this whole time. 🚩The issue is STILL that American media’s willfully complicit in the bloodshed.

It really can’t be stressed enough that American media had ample opportunity to assist the American public in suffocating the fascism of the Tea Party in 2010/MAGA in 2015 in its cradle but instead they fanned the flames b/c it was profitable and what the White electorate wanted.

And so many average, ordinary, every day Americans of all stripes were content to just let the shit be sugarcoated and enabled into existence because they didn’t (still don’t) wanna face the reality that the Civil War didn’t really end in 1865 & Reconstruction didn’t fix SHIT. 🗣

They also don’t wanna face the reality that the GOP is a domestic terror cell and organized hate crime group. They’ve done it both legislatively and extrajudicially for ~60 YEARS and it works largely b/c our citizenry is dangerously ignorant & our MSM is an assault on reason.

And when I say assault on reason, I mean that rather than seamlessly connect the dots between all the -isms & all the domestic terrorism done in its name (as @djrothkopf does so eloquently in this 🧵) the MSM hires folk like Chuck Todd who obfuscate their own complicity. 😒

~7 years later, Chuck Todd and the rest of the predominantly White punditry class continue to treat each and every one of these Klan massacres as a singular mystery or surprise that they’ve 1) never quite seen before and 2) didn’t aid & bet by normalizing Republican extremism.

Y’all can’t have it both ways, either you remember what the root cause analysis was from the last homegrown White domestic terrorist attack that just happened not too long ago, or you have racist selective amnesia that magically only forgets when the perpetrators are White guys.

I repeat, *they project ALL of their deviancy onto us*. Because White supremacy demands a gun in every hand and the “right” to kill at will, the communities most detrimentally impacted by the austerity White supremacy elects end up bearing the brunt of American homicides by gun.

Put another way, Uncle Sam is the family/society that taught ALL homegrown domestic sociopaths (White or otherwise) to hate, assault, rape, and murder. He’s the one who sells the guns, shields the gunmakers from prosecution, writes the stand your ground laws and KILLS us dead.

At a certain point the American voting majority is gonna have to face facts that gun reform is *never* gonna happen if we keep allowing the GOP to win elections on the strength of their latest culture war. An endless culture war + copious guns = a Civil War that NEVER ended.

And since it’s so painfully clear that too many Americans received a separate & unequal history/civics education, the way you know it’s the same Civil War is the folk who are waging it won’t call a ceasefire or surrender despite sustaining mass casualties. #DyingOfWhiteness🩸

That awkward moment when 1) Fox has to report ☕️ that’s jointly directed at them 2) Liz Cheney is absolutely correct & you can’t disagree 🙃 but 3) she’s right for the wrong reasons b/c really this is an admonishment of Trumpism’s departure from sanitized GOP Jim Crow to the KKK.

Really y’all just need to pay close attention to the overall Liz Cheney vs. basically the ENTIRE Republican Party psychodynamics. It’s a wild ride b/c you have to send your 🧠 back in time to 2000-2008, before the GOP developed new onset Obama Derangement Syndrome/Birtherism. 🚀

Before Obama and the multicultural coalition that elected him entered the picture, the GOP was content to stir up cultural animus against primarily *foreign* enemies abroad. Their war on terror was designed to target the Middle East & they won by fomenting post-9/11 Islamophobia.

IOW they didn’t necessarily “have” to stir up division amongst the various American ethnicities b/c their “unify for war b/c we were attacked” aka Us vs. Them propaganda was effective on its own due to the trauma of 9/11. Conversely Trumpism unifies Whiteness against EVERYBODY.

Likewise Trumpism became the prevailing GOP ideology because the party that’s ~90% White literally experienced Obama’s election & re-election as a White trauma. They feel attacked and afraid because equality feels like oppression to oppressors who’ve always thrived on inequality.

As such, it wasn’t long after PBO was elected that the runs on gun stores started. It was literally Pavlovian, a whole nation of hit dogs hollering in response to him speaking the truth of how they *CLING TO GUNS AND RELIGION*. 🗣 He told NO lies and they prove it HOURLY. #Facts

Which circles us right back to Liz Cheney and the war on Black/Brown “terror” aka fear of a Black/Brown planet (aka war on drugs if you wanna take it all the way back to Nixon), b/c it was *NEVER designed to see White men as terrorists*. 😬 As such it has no defense against MAGA.

I can totally see how as a ‘war on terror’ Cheney it’s extremely discombobulating for Liz to see the GOP not only refuse to give a shit about White domestic terrorism but literally be inciting it on the campaign trail while *clinging to guns and religion*, just like the Taliban.

Needless to say I don’t envy the position she’s in because the rabid Teahadists and MAGAts have been revving themselves up to this level of radicalization for 14+ YRS and would sooner string her up from a J6 gallows than listen to her tell them they’ve jumped the fucking shark.
