So what is Gideon's background? He appears as an "expert" at the Australian Academy of Science.

So what made him an "expert" prior to covid? Before 2020 he only had one first author paper, admittedly in a reasonable journal (Impact Factor 5)
But hang on, I thought he associated with the University of Wollongong in NSW?

No mention of his links with the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences. And no PhD.

Interestingly the same year (2019) in his only other publication before he became a "#COVID19 expert" he ditched his China connection.
This seems suspicious. Affiliations are meant to be declared in related papers.
