On the occasion of Savarkar Jayanti, I bow down to the man who created havoc in international waters.

This thread is about the facts and the reactions across international media with regards to "L'affaire Savarkar"(Savarkar Case)

#Thread #VeerSavarkar

Reactions across the World on the escape attempt:
1) L'liberacion (French Newspaper):
Editorial: "Britain's infamous empire is standing upon bloodshed and oppression. This is again proved by Savarkar's arrest on French soil."

2) L'Humanite (French Daily Paper) posted an article on its first page under the title "The French Revolution"
(Jean Longuet, Karl Marx's Grandson who was editor of this newspaper)..
Jean Longuet also fought Savarkar's case in International Court, Hague

3) The Temps, 18th July 1910 :"Every French citizen should support and appreciate Savarkar's extraordinary deed

4) The Morning Post, 30 July 1910 :"The British used to take pride as if they were keeping the sovereignty of the law. But in Savarkar's case, they not only did break the law but also break their own pride."

5) Der Wanderer (Swiss Newspaper): "Britain has betrayed like Brutus's dagger. They have butchered the liberty and freedom."

6) Aristide Briand, French Prime Minister, resigned from the office after the Hague case.

7) Times of India (British Indian newspaper) supported Britain.

8) Vladimir Lenin (Topmost Socialist Leader), passed a resolution in a convention at Copenhagen, that England should release Savarkar unconditionally and hand him over to the French.

[Savarkar and Lenin knew each other as the two had met each other in London in 1909]

9) The Asahi Shimbun (One of the Largest Newspapers in Japan), 27th July 1910, "Japan should suppress Britain for Savarkar's extradition "

Giving images of some articles. Look for keywords and headlines.

"France and England Caught in a big Diplomatic Tangle."

"Indian Sedition Case" (Leftmost column)

"How to Organise a Revolution"

"Escaped Prisoner Caused trouble"

"Diplomatic Knot Hard to Unite"

"Prisoner's Flight Stirs up in Trouble"

"Savarkar's Extradition"

"The Savarkar Extraction, French Socialist Agitation "

"Extradition is Causing Unrest"

"When Criminals are Made Welcome"

Madan Lal Dhingra and Savarkar's reference seen in this Italian article from L'Italia

Years after the arrest, the sentence and the release of Savarkar from the Cellular Jail in Andaman, Barrister Asaf Ali, a member of Abhinav Bharat writes an article on Savarkar.

Compares him with the spirit of Shivaji Maharaj and Giuseppe Mazzini.

This is a testimony that Savarkar's cooperators knew that Savarkar's escape from SS Morea and the release from Cellular Jail was a part of "Ganimi Kava", a kind of cunning warfare that Shivaji Maharaj used to tame the enemy, by hook or crook.

With that I conclude the thread.

We find mind-blowing facts about Savarkar as we dig deeper. Not many people on Earth can live life this mysteriously...

I bow down to this spirit of Ch. Shivaji Maharaj whose name is Vinayak Damodar Savarkar.🙏💐🌺🪷
