My new favorite thing is #dalle messing up corporate logos. Here's #dalle prompted with "the local waffle house"

"The Snickers logo" generated by #dalle2
(suggestion by @xkcd )

"The wendy's logo" as generated by #dalle .
What I find interesting is how vaguely, recognizably, correct they manage to be, while also being utterly wrong

"The pizza hut logo" generated by #dalle
After looking at several of these, the actual spelling of pizza now looks wrong to me

Saw "Burger King" generated with a different method earlier, so let's see how #dalle does

Interestingly, this one's not even close. #dalle generating "The Dairy Queen logo"

I like these.
"The NASA logo", as generated by #dalle

Tried a lesser-known logo, prompting #dalle with "The Fawlty Towers Logo" and "The logo for Fawlty Towers". None of the results were even logos, and I can't explain them.

Here's #dalle generating "Logo for Dr. Pepper". The information is definitely in there; it just is putting it together like this.

#dalle doing "The Applebees logo"

Okay here's another one. #dalle generates "The Steak and Shake logo".

Decided to see how it would do on a non-american brand. Here's #dalle generating "A can of Irn Bru".
The color scheme is correct but it seems to have had considerable trouble with the vertical lettering on the original cans.

Asked #dalle to generate "The Jurassic Park logo"

"A package of Toblerone" generated by #dalle. I tried asking for just "Toblerone" but it presented single pieces of unwrapped chocolate triangles.

Here's #dalle doing "A sign for In-N-Out, viewed from a distance". Just asking for "The logo for In-N-Out" produced signs that were very zoomed in.

Adding "merger" seemed to take the images out of logo territory, but I am very pleased with the results of simply prompting #dalle with "Logo for IHOP and IKEA"

THIS MIGHT BE MY FAVORITE YET
I asked #dalle for "The logo for dunkin donuts"

#dalle has apparently never been to Tim Hortons. This is its nigh unrecognizable attempt to generate "A sign for Tim Hortons".

By popular request, here is #dalle attempting to generate "A sign for Taco Bell"

I asked #dalle for "A sign for Arbys with the cowboy hat logo" because otherwise it was plain white text on red.
Fascinated that it had 10 tries at a 4-letter word and got the middle letters correct 0% of the time.

A summary of my experiments generating logos with #dalle aiweirdness.com/ai-versus-your…
