#UPDATE Himachal Pradesh | Death toll rises to 12 in the Kullu bus accident. As per a release by the HP-State Emergency Operation Centre, approximate 20 persons were on the bus. Administration teams are on spot for relief and rescue work

Kullu bus accident | While 12 died, 3 are admitted at Kullu hospital. We found that spot where the bus fell from actually had a landslide last night. Bus driver took huge risk attempting to take the bus over it due to which bus skidded: Surender Shourie, MLA Banjar

HP | Bus was trying to overtake some boulders which were on road due to rains last night. It went out of control & fell down. Impact of the fall was big as cliff was too steep. 12 people dead, 3 injured. Those deceased including a school & a college student: CM Jairam Thakur

HP | I spoke with DC Kullu & others in administration. Despite efforts 12 could not be saved. Families of deceased will be given total of Rs 5 lakh each. Those injured will be given best treatment. Orders for magisterial enquiry given: CM Jairam Thakur on Kullu bus accident
