Does #Vikram have the finest last 6 minutes ever of a Tamil big star movie ? Looking at how @Dir_Lokesh packed 6 brilliant moments in these 6 minutes.
#Thread ( Spoilers ahead)
Anirudh continues with what is easily the finest background score in recent memory as its time to see the villains from Kaithi back to what we call today the "Lokiverse". Even with all the big names around him, have to commend Arjun Das's small but effective performance here.
From asking Bejoy (Narain)- "What is the difference between you guys and Terrorists" to finally joining their squad as he wears the black mask and walks away from his wife's grave, Fahadh Faasil gave full justice to a wonderfully developer character.
The scene switches to Dilli's house as you see his daughter from Kaithi and then hear Karthi's voice. In an interview, Lokesh was asked why he didnt show Karthi here. Lokesh's reply was he didnt want to give all the excitement to viewers in one go
Agree-this itself was more!
Then you have this homage to Dark Knight rises as Vikram(Kamal) give his grandson one final visit and they share a glance. Beyond the action classic it is today and Lokesh's fine making,Vikram also had a great Kamal Haasan performance
This frame is just one testimonial to that.
And then you have the big big cameo of Suriya playing Rolex. Imagine if this had remained a suspense until the FDFS !
Its interesting how did Lokesh decide on Suriya to play this role ? But a knockout decision nevertheless !
Now if all this is not enough, you have another surprise that Vikram was all this time in middle of the men when Rolex had arrived and announced a bounty for the person who could bring Vikram's head to him.
This has to be the finest closing shot ever in a Tamil film !
