#BREAKING THREAD Head of Amnesty Ukraine @OPokalchuk says, that today's report by @amnesty was NOT prepared by Amnesty UKR. Further scandalous facts:
1) Data used by Amnesty Intl did not come not from Amnesty Ukraine, but from some international researchers (obviously parachuted)

2) Ukrainian office did not participate in either preparation or writing of the report;
3) "Already in the early stage, we get into a dead end". "None of the arguments by our team about the inadmissibility of this incomplete report were taken into consideration" /2

4) Ukraine office "has done anything possible to prevent this publication", but "multiply objections" by the Office Ukraine were answered "with no without any compromises";
5) No working versions of report were sent to Kyiv office; /3

6) Ukrainian team decided not to publish or translate the report;
7) "We are very sad by the fact that after all possible arguments from our side against (this report) we have not been heard".

This is an extremely strong statement. It shows how COLONIAL and BIASED @amnesty is /4

Just imagine: you prepare a report on crimes in a democratic country amid the worst war in decades. The local office with all expertise (and without fear for its freedom - see above, it is a democratic country) URGES you many times at least to consult - and you ignore them /5

You even do not share the report with them for a second opinion, you just ignore them as if they were stupid or biased or incompetent, all these long-years employees with a record of brilliant projects (compare: LGBT- or Roma programs by Amnesty). /6

For me, this is a sign of full incompetence of @amnesty and @AgnesCallamard , of their cold-blood decision to twist facts and to run Amnesty Ukraine as if it was the 19th century, and Amnesty and Agnes Callamard were colonial masters. Shame on you, @amnesty! Chapeau, Kyiv Office!
