Failing to talk about mums, mothers and maternal services excludes women who may have English as a second language or with special needs, and distresses some mums. It is dangerous.

You are doubling down - and not listening.

You have a duty to all 9 protected characteristics.

By following #Stonewall advice to erase the words, woman, mums and maternity from your patient outreach, you are failing women in 3 protected characteristics, sex, race and disability.

The Secretary of State stated in June that biological sex is incredibly important and trusts should use common sense and the right language.

Your language, actions and failure to act when alerted to your errors relating to the Equality Act create a hostile environment and may prevent the safe, efficient & fair provision of services to women.

This is not necessary for patients who identify as men to be accommodated.

One of our members told your CEO and HR team for 2 years or more that @NSFTtweets has errors in its equality policies and reporting.

Stonewall is misleading you.

You corrected religion/belief, & added marital/civil partnership.

You still omit the protected characteristics of
sex
pregnancy & maternity and
gender reassignment.

@NSFTtweets, you persist in collecting data incorrectly by gender not sex.
