Sri Sita Ramachandraswamy Mandir Bhadrachalam #Telangana
It is dedicated to Prabhu #shriRam It is considered one of the Divya Kshetrams of Godavari and is also revered as Dakshina Ayodhya.
The central icon, believed to be self-manifested, features the four-armed Vaikuntha Ram ji, the form Vishnu ji appeared to answer Bhadra'a prayers. Ram ji's consort mata Sita & brother Lakshman ji form part of the central icon.
The uniqueness of this mandir is that the murti of shri Ram has a bow & arrow in one hand along with Shanka & Chakra, also is 4 armed like Maha Vishnu (Narayana), he is named "Ram Narayana". Since Rama descended from Vaikuntha & manifested here, he is called Vaikuntha Ram.
Mandir is divided into 3 parts.
1st part is believed to be the head of Bhadra Inside on a rock structure, the supposed footprints of Ramji can be seen. The 2nd part of the mandir is the sanctum where the central icon resides on a place considered equivalent to Bhadra's heart.
The 3rd part is the Rajagopuram which is located at Bhadra's feet.
It has 4 entrances there are 50 steps to be climbed to reach the main entrance.
On top of the vimana of the sanctum is an 8 faced Sudarshana Chakra with a thousand corners.
जय श्रीराम 🙏
