in most droid phones, go to settings, about phone, select/tap about phone a bunch of times and developer options will open.
on cell these different behind the scene settings that are required by the Operating Software mine and use our data- tracking where what and things we do- so they can $profit by sales and advertising revenue$.

this does not mean they aren't monitoring - they're just not telling you they're monitoring.
