You can now support my mom's volunteer work long-term!❤️

With a brutal winter approaching, mom has continued delivering aid around Kyiv and to the frontlines.

A thread with some of her latest work👇🏼

Yesterday, she delivered a big heater to a group of women who are making camouflage nets for the military. These women work out of a building in #Irpin that was heavily shelled by Russia in spring. It's missing a few windows, and it was super cold there. Not anymore🤗

Two weeks ago, mom went to #Kharkiv to evacuate 4 dogs and deliver food parcels to the elderly

She also visited a family of two WWII veterans – 92 and 86 yo. – who told her about surviving the blockade of Leningrad. Mom has been sending them food parcels since spring and now finally saw them in #Kharkiv 💔

This woman gave birth to a baby girl in then-occupied #Volchansk in Kharkiv oblast. She finally escaped to Irpin, and her daughter doesn't even have a birth certificate yet. Mom brought them a bed, food, and some baby stuff 👼🏼

These folks were delivering supplies to a hospital in #Donetsk Oblast (Can we appreciate this woman's style for a moment?)

Soldiers in #Kharkiv oblast are getting food and supplies too

And lastly, some outright crazy shit – mom's friends delivering dog food to a liberated village in #Kharkiv Oblast via a BOAT b/c the bridge was destroyed

So, if you want to support all that – you can donate via GoFundMe, or via Buy Me a Coffee, where you can also "subscribe" with monthly donations of different levels (kinda like Patreon). We'll also be posting photos on BMaC so my Twitter feed doesn't look like an NGO, lol

❗️Mom's latest big spending need is roughly 2,000 euros to pay for logistics of a huge truck filled with humanitarian aid and dog food that will come to Ukraine from France. Fingers crossed we can raise that🙏🏼

(P.S. We put our family friend who lives in Europe as the beneficiary for GoFundMe b/c they still don't operate in Ukraine. He'll be transferring the money to us.)
