#Web5 Roadmap
Being an open-source project, the #Web5 can only have an open roadmap.
Here is what has been done ✅ and what there is to do 👇🧵
1. Announcing Web5
On July 10, 2022, Web5 was publicly announced as an open-source community initiative.
After the work in 2021 and early 2022, it was finally time to open the gates and take this project to another level thanks to the contribution of the community.
2. Initial Implementations (current phase)
Good intentions are not good enough, the work is what matters.
Devs from around the world, come and see for yourself:

It is rumored that there will be a significant release in November.
But I haven't told you anything 🤫
3. Completing Implementations
In Q1 of 2023, three things will happen
• The 3 aforementioned components will be completed.
• @TBD54566975 will start integrating with the ION network
• The work on the Wallet App will begin
4. The Wallet
As soon as the foundations are solid enough, TBD will start the development of a simple but practical Wallet App with identity support.
Not only they will develop this, but in doing so they will fix bugs and learn how to improve the underlying protocols.
5. Public Beta
In Q4 of 2023, the Web5 platform components and the Wallet app will enter Public Beta.
At this stage, the foundational work is behind and devs from around the world can finally start focusing on building Web5 Decentralized Applications.
