The Prosecutor's office, Akimat (local executive body) and police officers were involved in trying to convince Zhadyra DOSEKEYEVA that she was allegedly breaking the law. She has a constitutional right to participate in peaceful protests and pickets.

Police officers arbitrarily and rudely detained Zhadyra DOSEKEYEVA (her hands were twisted) and took her to the police department. An administrative trial was held for allegedly "violating the law on peaceful assembly".

Zhadyra DOSEKEYEVA was illegally fined 150 thousand tenge (330 euro). She is now in trauma bay with pain in her arm as police officers twisted her arms. The traumatologist refuses to examine and help her, telling her to go to her GP.
