HAPPY THANKSGIVING: Lots of good will across #Washington today as volunteers feed homeless. Julie Garcia sending me quick look inside "Camp Hope" tent in #Spokane. Despite numerous threats of a sweep, she says they aren't going anywhere until everyone housed. @WSDOT_East

HUNGER IS NOT AN ISSUE: #Spokane

SHOUT OUT: Volunteers are wrapping up serving of meals. Everyone fed. Plenty to go around at Camp Hope. #Spokane

GOV. INSLEE FINALLY VISITS CAMP HOPE: This past Sunday, @GovInslee made surprise appearance at state’s largest homeless camp in #Spokane. Julie Garcia says: “He introduced himself to guests. That meant a lot to them. They are usually outcasts and not included in the community.”

GIGANTIC CAMP: When I visited this summer, it was estimated to be around 600+ campers. Now it's down into the 400's. But still no timeline on when this will be cleared off @WSDOT_East property. #Spokane.

@WSDOT_East CONTROVERSY CONTINUES: Multiple sides are still trying to figure out how to best proceed. There have been numerous threats of sweep. But so far, Camp Hope is still standing and it's leaders are winning this showdown. #Spokane
